The wherever SIM GmbH is one of the world's leading providers of modern and secure M2M SIM solutions. At The Smarter E Europe, the Hamburg-based company will showcase its SIM cards designed for machine-to-machine communication and their advantages for the energy industry. These include real-time data transmission and secure remote access to charging stations and PV systems. From June 19 to 21, the company will be represented at the Power2Drive trade fair and Intersolar in Munich.
The demand for sustainable energy solutions and low-emission means of transportation remains high, while installed solar power and the market for electric vehicles are growing steadily. This rapid development presents companies with the challenge of efficiently managing charging infrastructure and energy generation systems. For both sectors, wherever SIM has established itself as a leading provider of innovative connectivity solutions and counts industry leaders such as Mer and Chargepoint among its customers. A machine-to-machine SIM from wherever SIM provides the necessary data connection in around 10 percent of the more than 535,000 e-charging points installed across Europe.
"The collaboration with wherever SIM has shown us the enormous added value that innovative M2M solutions offer for our members and the entire e-mobility sector. As an active member of our association, wherever SIM makes a significant contribution to increasing efficiency in the mobility sector," says Christian Heep, Chairman of the German Electric Mobility Association (BEM).
Once inserted into the device, the M2M SIM cards enable reliable and secure real-time communication between devices and systems via mobile communications. What's special about them is that the SIM cards offer access to the mobile networks of various providers within a country ( national roaming ), thus providing a mobile connection almost everywhere. This seamless connectivity makes it possible to remotely monitor, manage, and maintain charging stations , energy storage systems, or energy-generating facilities, regardless of their location.
"Our participation in The Smarter E Europe underlines our commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy industry. With our M2M SIM cards, we offer solutions that support the transition to a sustainable energy future and optimize the networking of devices and systems," explains Tim Müller, Managing Director of wherever SIM.
