We know that with our M2M SIM cards we are an important part of your IoT projects and infrastructure. That's why security and reliability are our top priorities.
99,99 % availability through complete geo-redundancy of our data centers and a state-of-the-art architecture based on microservices.
Restrict the use of a SIM card to a specific device based on the IMEI (unique identification number of a mobile phone device).
Double protection when logging into the online portal: 2-factor authentication protects your data in the wherever SIM portal from unauthorized access.
On request, we can provide you with your own private IP subnet (a private APN). Access to the IoT SIM cards is therefore only possible via a secure IPsec VPN connection and is protected from third parties.
On request, we also offer you the option of using a static private IP address for the M2M SIM to easily access the SIM and device via a secure VPN. For secure and simple remote access, we also offer VPN on request.
Due to our roaming agreements, your device with our M2M SIM cards is allowed to log into over 485 cellular networks worldwide. In Europe, for example, the networks of various network operators (Orange, Vodafone and BT) are supported. Since our SIM cards do not favour any network operator, your device is allowed to dial into the best available network locally from the SIM card side. Your hardware only needs to be configured accordingly for this.
Due to roaming contracts, our SIM cards are allowed to connect to different networks – similar to the way your mobile phone would do if you were abroad. The difference is, however, that even high data volumes are cheap in many countries due to our good contractual conditions with local network operators.
Yes, our M2M SIM is designed to use different networks, but it can only use one specific network if it is supported by the hardware. The network can be configured manually on most end devices. By default, our M2M SIM is designed to enable your device to connect to the strongest mobile network at any location. Please note that your device must meet minimum technical requirements, such as support for roaming, in order to use different networks.
Yes, you can set a data limit (e.g. 500 MB per SIM card per month) for your M2M SIM cards in the customer portal. You can also group SIM cards and set a different data limit for each group. If a set data limit is used up, we block the data traffic for this SIM card until the end of the month. You will also receive a notification in the portal when the limit is reached.
No, our SIM card is future-proof. In some countries we already support 5G, which already used M2M SIMs can also use. As soon as we have greater coverage for 5G or support NB-IoT, these technologies will also be supported by SIM cards already installed. It is not necessary to replace inserted SIM cards.
We offer M2M SIM cards both with and without telephony. Please contact us if telephony is relevant for your application.
