Your mission

As an IT Operations, Automation & System Administrator , you will play a key role in building and operating a secure, scalable and high-performance IT infrastructure. You optimize our internal systems and automate processes so that our teams can work more efficiently. With your technical expertise, you will ensure that our vision is implemented reliably and future-proof.

Your role:

Are you a specialist for a stable and efficient IT infrastructure and would you like to use your skills to optimize processes? Then exciting challenges await you with us:

  • IT infrastructure: You are responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and optimization of our IT systems - including cloud environment, networks, collaboration tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite) and our hardware.
  • Automation: You analyze manual processes, develop automated workflows and build solutions with APIs, scripts or tools to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Internal IT support: You solve technical problems, procure and set up hardware, support onboarding and offboarding and train teams to use our systems efficiently.
  • IT security and data protection: You secure our infrastructure with firewalls, endpoint security and patch management, work on compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 or GDPR and support the data protection officer.
  • Monitoring: You implement monitoring systems (e.g. Zabbix, Nagios) and optimize the performance of our systems through proactive monitoring and problem solving.
  • Close collaboration: You will work closely with various teams to develop technical solutions and improve existing processes. As the contact person for technical problems, you will support our teams and ensure that our IT environment functions optimally.

What you bring with you

  • Experience: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in SysOps, IT operations or system administration, ideally in several positions.
  • Technology know-how: You have practical experience with Google Workspace, IT networks, cloud environments and automation (APIs, scripts). 
  • Analytical thinking: You recognize technical challenges quickly and develop pragmatic solutions. You know how to analyze and sustainably optimize processes and system structures.
  • Personal responsibility and reliability: You work independently, organize your tasks effectively and take responsibility for the smooth operation of our systems.
  • Communication skills: You can explain complex issues clearly and enjoy working with different teams.
  • Curiosity: You always keep your finger on the pulse, proactively follow technological trends and integrate the latest solutions. You take a practical approach to challenges, find solutions independently and actively share your knowledge with the teams.
  • Nice-to-have: You have experience with patch management solutions and device management systems, as well as ISO 27001 certifications or comparable standards.
